Tips For Decorating A Clutter Free Home

Home is the place where you can get cozy and comfortable and de-stress yourself from the worries of life. It should help you to relax instantly and thus, any stress due to clutter and junk collection is something that you must avoid. Here are some of the most common areas of dump and clutter in homes and solutions to make them look more organized:

  1. Most of the people are in the habit of dumping things like car keys, glasses, shoes, purses, helmet and mails immediately after entering the home either by front or back door and then search them for hours, when they need them. You can resolve this problem by mounting hooks to hang keys, bags, purses, coats and hats, keep a free standing shelf beside the door for shoes, glasses and such things, hang mail holders, preferably with two pockets - to hold bills and other mails, and a bin to throw the junk mail immediately along with other trash such as empty cans, wrappers and envelopes.
  2. Homes with one bathroom and a large family are often a mess, especially around the bathroom area. There are wet towels, dirty clothes, toiletries and a queue of family waiting for their turn. You can minimize the pressure on the area by appointing other areas for some of the activities that can be managed outside the bath. Install hooks and a big laundry bag to hand wet towels and to dump dirty clothes. You may keep towels and makeup outside in a shelf. A tall mirror outside will help people to get ready and do makeup outside and reach for the towel without entering the bath. If many members are sharing one room and use bathroom to change clothes, you may like to hang a curtain that can allow them a private area for the purpose.
  3. Tripping on toys and picking them up all over the house is the major occupation of most of the mothers. First of all, it is advisable to donate the toys that are outgrown or do not attract you child any longer on his or her birthday to poor children. There will be more coming in as gifts and may seen far too interesting to your child than these old ones. Small kids do not like to be restricted to one room, so it is wiser to have a drawer or hidden storage area for their toys wherever they play most often. It will save you many running errands to their room.
