You must first decide the theme that you want to set for your house. After this you must look at the size of the rooms. If a room is large, you might want to divide it to give a more cozy and friendly atmosphere to it. You can part it with a sliding door or beads or open shelves. You can make a dining area or a study on one side and a sitting or living room on the other.
If a room has a picture window or a bay window, place the furniture to face the window. This allows everyone to admire the view and will make the place look bigger. In a large room use solid colors and furniture made of dark wood.
