Anyone that has ever had paneling on their walls can probably tell you just how difficult it can be to get the glue off of their walls when they are ready to do something different with their walls. It does not have to be a really large chore and this article will explain how you can do this job more effectively while doing it quickly as well.
1.) Try removing it with a paint scraper. Do not force it, for you do not want to scratch or pull off the paint from the wall, however you may be damaging the wall even more. That just creates more that you will need to repair when you are finished with the final project.
2.) If it is very difficult to remove the glue from the wall, then you will want to use a heat source of some sorts. You can use a blow dryer as a way to heat the glue to loosen the adhesives. This will help you remove the glue with the paint scraper a little easier.
3.) Finally, you will want to fix the drywall with drywall mud. Re-dry walling is a little more challenging then taking the glue off the wall.
There you have it. As you can see, it is very easy to remove the glue from your wall when you decide that you would like to remodel a room. It does not take a lot time or effort as long as you have the right equipment to help you complete this task you are sure to have a positive, lasting effect that you will be pleased with for a long time to come.
