4 Unique Design Features of Waterbed Sheets

Sleeping in a waterbed is a great way to get a good night's sleep.��Many waterbed owners find keeping their sheets on the bed difficult. It is much easier when you use waterbed sheets. Waterbed sheets have some intrinsic design features that make them perfect for waterbeds.

Many waterbed owners make the mistake of trying to use regular bed sheets on their waterbed.��This never works, and leads us to our first unique design feature of waterbed sheets. .��Waterbeds are longer than regular beds in fact, they are about 10 inches longer than a regular bed. Most inner spring mattresses and even memory foam beds measure about 74 inches in length, while waterbeds generally run about 84 inches.��This is one of the most important factors in getting a good fitting sheet.��The first unique design feature of the waterbed sheet is they are longer and made to fit the longer size of waterbeds.

The next two unique design features of waterbed sheets help solve the problem of getting your sheets on the bed, and keeping them on. These design features are unique to waterbed sheets only, which is why it is wise to buy sheets designed for waterbeds.

The second unique design feature is the top and fitted sheets are usually connected at the bottom or the sheets. They are connected in the middle or the bed to keep the sheets together, which helps keep your sheets on the bed.

The third unique design feature of waterbed sheets is called the Pole sheet.��Pole sheets are constructed with a casing in each of the corner pockets of the bottom sheet.��Once the pole is slipped through the casing, it will grab the corner of the wood frame to hold the sheet in place until you are ready to take the sheets off of the waterbed mattress.��Pole sheets do not come in every fabric, but make keeping your sheets on the bed very easy.

The fourth unique design feature of waterbeds is the fitted sheet has flaps that allow you to tuck in the sheet and keep it where you want it.
