电致发光，又称场致发光，英文名为Electroluminescence，简称EL。电致发光依靠从扩散区注入的大量非平衡载流子不断地复合发光，放出光子；再利用CCD相机捕捉到这些光子，通过计算机目前，电致发光成像技术已被很多太阳能电池和组件厂家使用，用于检测产品的潜在缺陷，控制产品质量。而便携式EL设备由于其方便携带，可用于户外EL测试，对光伏系统进行检测和诊断，不断受到光伏业内的人士的关注。

Battery-powered LumiSolarOutdoor System
The battery based version of the LumiSolarOutdoor system does not need any external power source. A powerful battery generates the electricity for both, camera and the solar
module being measured. It is possible to apply up to 100V and 7.5A to the module.
