用于测量和储存冲击电压峰值、冲击电流峰值以及其它单次脉冲峰值。内部的一个计算单元可使分压器高压侧的峰值以kV为单位直接显示出来。显示范围从 0.1kV至 16000kV。
该装置是为了高压试验室的使用而专门设计的。采用特殊的布线、屏蔽、滤波以及过电压保护线路使电磁干扰高度衰减。

测量范围
通过测量电缆，该设备连接至冲击电压分压器(电阻型或电容型设备)的低压臂或大电流分流器上。对于测量分压器(分流器), 冲击峰值电压表将引入一个2MΩ∥39pf的负载。如果需要，例如在电阻型冲击分压器的情况，可将75Ω(或50Ω)的匹配电阻加在该表的两个输入端之一。该装置允许输入的*大脉冲电压峰值为1600V。测量值以5位数字直接显示，单位为kV。
该装置不同于目前常用的冲击峰值表的特点是：测量电压量程无需手动切换,而由装置自动切换。正负极性在显示屏上自动显示。
